He did seem to move his arm towards the ball, so a penalty. I think the one at OT yesterday was also a penalty, very much enjoyed it not being given.

    On the hendo/lovren index
That was a nailed on pen as arm clearly moved toward ball
That said on the hendo/Lovren index most incidents are a penalty :)

Wenger has a track record of not seeing penalty decisions that go in his teams favour, but he develops laser like 20/20 vision when it's his team on the end of one.
    Wenger about to explode!

Tbf I said it could be coincidental and arm moved forward for balance but I also said:

I actually don’t think it was a pen however it was no way as bad a decision as the pundits making out as he moved his arm clearly to the ball giving the ref a choice.
All I am pointing out is that based on the soft decisions recently it was nailed on
Arsenal have benefitted a lot from bad decisions this season and last Tbf do this one was due
Unlike us whose decisions evened our within games of each other :)

Wenger on his decision to headbutt Mike Dean:

"He (Dean) didn’t see it. There was a player in front of him. That’s why I nutted him square in the chest, he didn’t see it."

    Arsenal

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, speaking to BBC Match Of The Day.

Was the penalty a huge decision?: “Yes. I think many years ago Mike Dean and myself fought hard for referees to become professional and they do a good job but don’t work enough.

“But we have a very difficult schedule and I believe we fought hard to win the game but didn’t because of a bad decision.

“He (Dean) didn’t see it. There was a player in front of him.

“That’s why I questioned his decision, he didn’t see it.

“I felt we have a very tight schedule to prepare for this game. The Premier League has to look at the schedule. You have to look to see if you have the same amount of recovery days as the opposition. Come back to me when that happens."

More from Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, to BBC Match Of The Day.

Should Danny Welbeck have had a penalty?:“Honestly I didn’t see it. I didn’t see why he went down. In this case we have to look at it again."

West Brom have not had a penalty in a long time:“In my opinion it was not a penalty at all. I am not responsible for West Brom not having had a penalty for a long time it’s not my job.”

That is why I hate Arsenal and Wenger

The blues should win their game with man u, or at least shut them out.

"Romelu Lukaku will miss Manchester United's next two games after suffering a head injury against Southampton.

Fellow forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic is out for a month with a knee problem, while Michael Carrick, Marouane Fellaini and Eric Bailly all remain sidelined.

Chris Smalling, Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian are doubts for Monday's game, while Ashley Young is set to begin a three-match ban after being charged with violent conduct by the Football Association."

Imo we could do with Everton actually trying in this one but you know how Everton are when their parent club needs a result.

l'arse v chavs is a nice bonus if that ends up say a draw too.

    a win would be fantasmagorical

Yep, spot on. Many professional managers and players care more about another teams results than their own <ok>
