    New Years resolutions? Yes, I have. I am going to drink more, eat more, spend more and have more sex.

    On second thoughts, I cannot afford it and don't have the stamina.

    Bugger, I was looking forward to it for a moment!

    I always set new year resolutions.

    This years are...

    1)Lose a stone in weight
    2)Get a manuel job
    3)Actually practice guitar and improve instead of noodling around
    4)Go on holiday. I'm going to Barcelona in March, but I like to go away again

    Holed up on a caravan site in County Durham hunkered down seeking shelter from Storm Dylan. (See wot I did there).

    The Missus is full of womanflu and hit the Day Nurse early this morning. She'll be on the Night Nurse by nine o'clock I reckon, then she'll be fast bound for Morningtown, many miles away.

    The hound is fast asleep, has been most of the day, and fully looks like he intends to stay that way.

    I'll be seeing the new year in on me tod, I guess.

    Never mind, I've got a decent bottle of red, a bottle of prosecco, some small batch gin, some craft IPA and 3 different home infused vodkas.

    I'll survive.


    Wishing everyone on here a healthy and prosperous New Year.

    Resolutions are
    Reduce working days to 3
    Reduce penis size to 12"
    Cut down on sugar and salt
    Tell Ms Over how special she is more
    Help her more in the garden.

    Spend more time with my kids and friends

    Stain my neighbour shed
    Walk my neighbour dog to help them

    Cook more meals for Ms Over
    Get fitter but my weight stays the same
    Continue not supplying the Allams with my money.
    Do some charity work.
    Increase my sales of pork pie, sausage rolls and meat pies.

    Hopefully these will all be fulfilled.

    Currently listening to Classic FM, halfway through a bottle of red, watching fireworks from some little village away yonder.

    It ain't how I brought New Year in 30 years ago, but right now it'll do me fine.

    I'm reading Hull: Culture, History, Place, that my sister bought me for Christmas. You never stop learning.
