Either that or just start every game with no striker if we can’t afford one and pack the midfield

Would like Jota who had the shot that Felix couldn't hold yesterday, would cost about 6 million but scored 23 for Brentford as a winger last season and has ripped us to pieces every time I've seen him play against us.

Hey Chesh the only way this gets settled is to see which teams come in for him because he would be an idiot to stay at Leeds. Also think Eire isnt far off with packing the midfield as we dont have a striker. Players who have played up top and scored are Saiz Alioski both who have scored goals this season, Phillips has scored, Roofe scored, Cibicki played up top so has Grot but he usually plays wing and scores?

The thing is nud if we can get a target guy then who drops out.not roofe for me he stays second striker.then its up to saiz and pablo to fight it out with alioski and phillips.veiera is a starter for me.

Wigan have only conceded 12 goals in 24 games, should take a look at that keeper.

FFS ... just don't get this hatred for our players, Leeds really don't need "fans" like you ... Klich is miles better than Phillips, it's plain to see ... our two holding mids should be out of Vieira, O'Kane and Klich ... issue has been that O'Kane and Klich both weren't fully fit at start, and both have had injuries that have taken time to recover from ... hopefully things settle and we start to see our best eleven soon

5th place and 6 points off autos at the turn of the year is excellent, yet so called "fans" are still spilling bile ... you can't make it up

have people genuinely forgotten Bates and Wise, or Cellino and Hock-a-fcuking-day?

You are going to end up very disappointed if you believe the stuff you post. We are an average team in a piss poor league.

Klich came to Leeds cos he had an opportunity to play in the English league. He was given the name "The Penetrator" because of his ability to find the defence splitting passes, much in the same way as Hernandez does. We also gave some of our players nicknames for certain reasons.

Like Doc said, he was the first player we went after, and a lot of hard work was put in to get him, that hard work was for a good reason.

Both Klich and Cibicki were being ignored by TC, question is why? TC playing favourites, got personals with some players, TC playing it safe, or doesn't have the ability to pick the right players at right time, or is totally stubborn, maybe all of them.

TC was forced to bring on Cibicki during one game, and Cibicki stepped up and got plaudits for his performances, why didn't TC give Klich the same opportunity earlier in season when we were going through our losing streak, and our midfield were being bulldozed, why didn't he give Cibicki the opportunity for same reasons, Very easy to say TC see's them in training, but I don't for minute believe any player is lazy or not giving his all during training.

TC was forced to bring on Klich during Brum game cos Phillips wasn't doing the job, again, and others were injured. Klich didn't set the game alight, nor did Saiz, but Klich didn't do anything wrong either, and our midfield did become a little tighter, and we saw glimpses of Klich's passing abilities. Klich deserves the same chance to prove himself as TC has given Phillips, and Phillips isn't working out too well in midfield.

Our midfield are regularly getting over run and bulldozed by opposing teams, especially the bigger teams, it's our weakest link at moment. Literally everyone
have recognised we have a problem in midfield, except TC it seems, yet the arguments and debates continue about who are our best CM's.

Phillips brings nothing to team imo, O'Kane seems to sometimes play like he's high as a kite with occasional good performances in patches, Vieira is a good midfielder with potential but runs hot and cold. TC uses the same 3 midfielders, rotating when forced to do so, and still we have the same problems.

We have had coaches who played favourites, were stubborn, had personals with some players, and never seemed to have a plan B, TC, Monk and Redders. Fans wanted to keep both Monk and Redders. Monk proved he didn't have it at Boro, Redders showed he didn't have it at Rotherham, and is now the coach at the Doncaster Belles, a ladies team. Thing is, those 3 coaches all have something in common. Shall we throw BM into mix as well.

From memory, Sloth was getting a lot of plaudits from the U23's coach, and he was scoring goals, but Redders didn't want anyone outshining his little academy boys.

Truth is, we have problems in midfield, and it looks like problems off the field; as Ristac pointed out when we went on our losing streak, how can the whole team all of a sudden play bad and ugly football............we're doing it again, don't be surprised if we go on another losing streak.

If we do go on another losing streak it will mean the end of Tommy because top 6 vanishes

Maybe players are being overplayed because of the small squad and are not getting enough time to recover between games

So the midfield keeps getting bulldozed ....

    ..... and still we're in 5th. <doh>

Wish we'd been bulldozed like this for the last few year.

And all this said by the guy that wanted to play Cibicki as a DM against Brum. And he wonders why he has no credibility.

    That's a good observation Eire.....:emoticon-0148-yes:

Noel Whelan was asked if the players are being over trained cos they're looking tired, he replied no.

We have some players who can handle playing every game, but maybe the younger players, and a few others can't.

No offence and not sure who this post is aimed at, but why is it plain to see, I have never seen Klich play a full game and have never seen him play for any club side. I am more than happy to be corrected if anyone on here has actually seen him play.
