I'd be tempted to remove Pierre because of that yellow. They'll be around the ref from the first min.
BBC reckon Tadic was booked for kicking ball away, then change it to Stephens, finally decide its Wesley. Are they so alike?
Please don't. I know it's coming, but right now I don't want to consider the fact that Davis (and Redmond) will be starting on Tuesday. Such a big game.
Boufal would be a truly exceptional player if he can just find some end product to some of these moves. They are having lots of joy down the wings but thats not surprising with both our fullbacks missing. We do look better with some pace in the side. looking forward to who we could bring in during January.
Some excellent stuff that half, particularly when we play quick, one touch passing. Hojbjerg > Romeu Boufal scaring them McCarthy looking relatively assured Worry being the canyon-sized gaps between the CBs for crosses. Wesley getting very frustrated by Maya not moving back across, but I don’t know enough about football to say it’s definitely that. Ref has been excellent.
Shocker. Trained referee says no penalty. Ex-Utd player Scholes says a clear, obvious penalty. I will never understand why TV doesn't use impartial pundits.
Good first half but we got to get better at defending crosses; riding our luck at the moment in that respect. Long looked in trouble towards the end of the half l thought, holding his right thigh... Watching the game in Kampala tonight - in a bar full of Ugandan Man Utd fans!
Long, Pierre and Boufal have been excellent and i'm feeling much more secure about our Keeper already.
Or the correct nature of today’s game being cautious when it comes to head injuries. Your choice, but I reckon Romelu might prefer not to have dementia in old age, or an aneurysm before then.
His decision making is not the best. He finsds himself in a good position then when he has an opportunity to shoot or take on his man, he makes the pass, or when there's a good pass to be made, he decides to take on two players
The boys on Sportsnet, including Danny Dicho, say penalty. Yoshi did have him arm up, so I am on the fence. But think about, the amount of soft Utd penalties, at OT over the years, perhaps the football gods, are starting to even things out! Lol
Solent comm. team singing the praises of that first half, the line-up - and how well they've performed, and (worse of all) the Manager...... What, and whatever the outcome that we are going to see the exact same line-up again the next game...?? Hmmm.....
