Pretty shoddy match day thread KIO. I guess I set the bar a bit too high with my ones recently , at least you tried ?
Obviousy DF is his own man,and does not listen to any advice. He must think that modern players are incapable of playing 3 games in a week.If that is true why has he not dropprd Ivo,Zimms,Trybs and Basil? Millwall at home should be an easier game than Burton away. 3 points against Burton by playing our strongest team would have given massive confidence for Millwall. Prove me wrong DF,if you dont I fear for your future. Listening to Radio Norfolk,Burton supporters cannot believe there luck with this team.
There's your motivational pre match team talk right there. Underestimating hard working small clubs like Burton is suicide.
If and when this all goes tits up at least Canary Call will be a bit lively If we win with that line up this afternoon I promise to come out of retirement and do a dog’s bollocks of a MDT for Millwall
Like everybody, I'm amazed about the line-up changes. Dave has a point though - the 6 players rested will probably return to the line-up on Monday, which will be a harder test. It's a gamble though, and scorn will be poured on him if we lose today. Those coming in are all decent players though and Burton will not have prepared for this line-up or the tactics to be used. Burton use a 5-4-1 formation and will be difficult to break down. Time will tell though.
From PD on the match report - "This is poor from #ncfc. No other way to describe it. Disjointed. Imprecise. #bafc sharper, hungrier in the close quarters stuff.!!" WHY am I NOT surprised???
We're totally screwed, aren't we? We can't afford to get rid of Farke and we can't afford to keep him.
I can't believe how far we have fallen in such a short space of time. But ensuring Championship survival is our aim this season then maybe look upwards.
