Leandre Griffit says we will get someone from Nice. I know he’s a ex-player but just how reliable is he.

    But, if right, Plea?

Striker I think. Malcolm is the winger.

He was prolific last season if I recall, Would be a decent shout. I'm also of the opinion that we should test Feyonoords resolve around Vilhena.

Plea would be interesting. You could deploy him as a secondary striker behind whoever, making runs off them to get behind and support moves at a much shorter distance. We'd probably end up using him as a lone striker in rotation with Gabbiadini instead, because gaaaaaaaaaah.

Allan Saint-Maximin probably won't be on the move, and he's not quite ready for the big time, but he's seriously talented.

Someone's found a crumpled up sheet of paper in one of the manager's desk drawers if we start signing people from Nice <laugh>

I heard one of those silly attention seeking rumours that the French league player was an international who had played for two premier league clubs previously.
Only one I can think of is Mario <cracker>

Gabbi had a shot against Spurs from a chance he created for himself from memory, but it was everything our other attacking players fail to do so often. Okay it was marginally wide (fitting in there) but it was a rocket. I watched that and just thought “that’s why we should be playing him”.

Hope Plea’s knees are better if it’s him.

And if we're going to start Austin (which I'm fine with), start Gabbiadini wide right. It's the position where he has the most experience, and "chance he created for himself" is something we badly need.

Have people suddenly forgot that we are Southampton? We don't sign established premier league players like sturridge and Walcott.

I'm fully expecting us to not sign any of Mawson, sturridge or Walcott and bring in a young player from Europe that half of us haven't heard of.

Cyprien shredded his ACL, didn't he? Can't see him on the move any time soon.

Sarr's a talented kid, but Favre clearly doesn't trust him; would be one for the future, but not exactly likely to move into the lineup this season.

Seri's a possibility, though. Not 100% sure where he'd fit in with us, though.

This claims Nice want £20m for Seri. In our price range, but was linked with Barca in the summer and a host of other more glam clubs

Cyprien made his come back in Dec from his ACL.
