Yeah but 3/4 of those blue rinsers can barely walk or talk anymore, they were highly unlikely to get up, give you a slap and tell you to **** off. They probably just sat there in pained silence and died a bit more on the inside as you waved your spotted handkerchief at them.
They weren’t all blue rinsers, Pix. And I don’t even own a spotted hanky, let alone perform with one! The magic I perform is very modern and direct. You seem to be having flashbacks to your holidays as a youth, at Butlins and Pontins. The best magic of today has moved on, mate.

To be honest, I’m not that impressed with Dynamo. Most of his tricks can be purchased from a magic dealer and he performs them almost exactly as they are demonstrated on the dvd tutorials. When I first saw him, I thought he was a joke. There are so many better magicians around than him. But he seems to have the punk appeal that the TV bosses seem to find hip. Please don’t base your views on modern magic by watching Dynamo ffs! “Fool Penn &Teller” is a great show for seeing some of the World’s best magicians, both young and old. Michael Vincent, Daniel Madison, Lin Shim, Dan & Dave Buck, Sankey, to name just a very small few.
Until you see good close up magic performed well, you will operate under that misconception. It’s about half and half, mate. When I perform these clubs with my band, the blue rinsers tend to keep away. On Christmas Eve, you’ve got to expect them to put in a showing for the prize bingo, mate.
Im not interested in magic mate, I think it's incredibly boring and a strange concept, it's just lying on an acceptable scale really isn't it? No wonder you're good at it.
HIAG mate, I don't think we're your target audience, so no matter how much you try and sell this bollocks to us it's not really going to work.
