Dunno - if we get a hiding tomorrow night, and don't beat Palace on Tuesday, I suspect he might be gone. If he's still in charge for the cup tie at Craven Cottage, then he's probably staying until the summer.
Right now, I would honestly rather spend nothing on transfers and relieve MP of duties, rather than blow £35M and have him picking teams out of a hat and generally just continue to pretend to be doing his job. I know this is harsh, but I've felt the same since the end of October. Jan Poortvliet's handsome twin needs to go. In other news, Dejan Lovren is close to agreeing terms to join Swansea. Oh please happen.
Well i can't see us unsettle the side further.. Esp as black has gone. I'd rather stick him for the season anyway.
That is a good signing for Swansea. Hopefully this with Fonte to west ham will show it doesn't always go the way you would hope.
Sorry, but the £75m will be seen as profit and swept up in dividend payouts no doubt. We may get £15m to splash in the window (on what though?) and MP is onboard until the summer...should be an interesting back end to the season this year....i'm a bit negative tonight....but maybe realistic...
Not really enthused with the idea of Sturridge. A loan for the rest of the season might be ok though. If we are assuming Walcott is a certainty, I'd like Dembele and Giroud as well, though I appreciate that is unlikely and quite greedy.
I love Dejan. Just when it feels like football is getting you down, he does something to brighten the day.
They won't want to, they will be desperate for him to fluke another three points somewhere, but from where? The next best opportunity is the 31st Jan, and certainly not a given.
