obviously wasnt expecting it to beat faugheen but as ive said all season, youd want 5/2 about Faugheen staying sound to cheltenham never mind beating Buveur Dair as a 10yo Mick Jazz I backed antepost for chelnteham last year and he was the only horse you could bet in the race if you wanted an interest
I guess if Faugheen is out then Willie will have a look at his options and the entries for the Irish Champion Hurdle at the end of January will be quite revealing ....
A message for beefy; Apparently nobody is laughing at Seven Barrows as that would be vulgar, but Mr H has requested an extra large G in his G&T this afternoon.
hopefully beefy makes it to the new year, Min, Yorkhill and Faugheen deary deary me, its been a bleak one, id imagine Footpad is the only thing stopping him from reaching for the old rope
Merry Christmas? Aren't you a bit late for that? Ooops! Forgot....you're a bit late with everything!!!!
I have always found it strange Beefys love affair with Willie..Ricci is having some rotten luck at present...think the guy is a complete dick but loved watching faugheen when he was at his best...
Dont get me wrong Pops, I really like beefy as a poster but I just thought he had jumped the gun with his Buveur Dair post the other day. I didnt expect to get a reaction but I did. A bit naughty of me posting this today but its meant in good spirit (G&T). I sincerely hope that there is nothing amiss with the horse but it sure looks like he has passed his best.
Willie will be on it come mid March. He's still had 15 winners in the last 2 weeks at around 20% strike rate with 4 winners today. There's plenty of trainers that would like to be in that level of disarray. Sad for Faugheen. Can't be having this nothing wrong just on off day. I'd be surprised if he lines up at Cheltenham on the Tuesday.
