    Not according to the Torygraph

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/201...rule-second-eu-referendum-labour-gains-power/

Corbyn's position is pretty clear - step back, respect the democratic will as it is at present and allow the Tories to own Brexit and when it all crashes in on them be ready to step in and clear the mess.

If there's support for a second referendum then there will be one because there's no way he would throw away the chance of getting Labour in power over the issue.

Where did I say he's lying?

'The Labour leader said his party was “not advocating” another vote on EU membership, but stopped short of ruling it out altogether.'

All seems pretty consistent with what I posted above?

Feel free to post a link and I'll take a look as the only things I can find from the last 24 hours are where he says

"Our position is that we are not advocating a second referendum," Mr Corbyn told the i newspaper

I'm sure it does seem pretty straight forward to you but the fact that from the same quote/interview the Telegraph draws exactly the opposite headline
Jeremy Corbyn fails to rule out second EU referendum if Labour gains power suggests that it's not.

If he had said 'I can categorically say there will be no second referendum'or 'there will be no second referendum whilst I'm the leader of the Labour party' I would agree but by saying 'our position is that we are not advocating a second referendum' he's left himself and the party lots of room for maneuver.

He is fully aware of the risks involved in seeming to be opposing democratic will but also at the same time that if the democratic will changes there would be risks in opposing that especially if it means opposing his party and supporters and electorate https://www.theguardian.com/politic...d-abandon-party-over-brexit-stance-poll-finds

So that's why for now he sits back, lets the Tories own this Brexit.

Ok find me the quote where he says NO REFERENDUM from the last few days.

If you find you can't feel free to come back and I can happily try again to explain the difference between 'no referendum' and 'not advocating a second referendum'
