I think we will win. It will be the complete opposite to Man City and we will do plenty of attacking.

    Elliott
    Yedlin - Lascelles - Clark - Dummett
    Hayden - Merino
    Ritchie - Perez - Atsu
    Gayle

2-0 to the lads. Gayle double.

seems like Elliot is out with a thigh injury

is it me or just coincidence that Karl Darlow is featured on the match day magazine for this weekend game
does the magazine editor pick the team or is Rafa moonlighting

Let's give Woodman a chance. He can't be far behind Darlow in ability and development, and Darlow has looked shaky in recent appearances.

Play Woodman. Darlow is a mistake waiting to happen.

Got to give Woodman a chance surely? Darlow is garbage.

    Ps. We won’t.

    1-0 win

    I’d go:

    Woodman

    Mbemba
    Lascelles
    Clark
    Dummett

    Merino
    Saivet

    Aarons
    Ritchie
    Atsu

    Gayle

I think it’s time to give Aarons a chance in a weaker game rather than being chucked in against Man C or left back against Chelsea etc etc. Give the kid a chance. He has been fit for a while for the first time in ages. Get Woodman in. The keepers have been poor anyway. Elliot started ok but I watched Woodman in the summer and he looked ready. I’m a big believer that older keepers are generally better due to decision making. However quality can overcome that (or go the other way when there is a lack of it!)

I think we will win today. Also I hope Dummet does start. He's not the best obviously but I just think we will be more solid with him in the team which is what we need at the moment.

Need a win today. Am with Pouchy - go with the young talent and give it a chance to shine. Reckon it will be close but we will sneak it 2-1.

That looks pretty close to our strongest team. Which is f***ing terrifying in and of itself.

Joselu has looked awful as a lone striker, but I can't think of anyone who looks their best in that role. At least, nobody we could afford. In a Championship match like this one, having him hold up the ball and/or play knock downs for Gayle might be a better use of him.

That being said, going to 442 didn't seem to work earlier in the season, so what do I know.

i think Gayle will be up top on his own, with Joselu being a headless chicken.

Great run and cross from Hayden, picked out Gayle in the middle but a little too high for him... Close
