Not talking Kane specifically but after the Neymar transfer, it is only a matter of time before some club does spend that amount. Whether in Jan or next summer or even after. I think the stage where it seemed transfer fees would stop rising has gone out the window. I certainly wouldn’t put it past Real Madrid to be one of the ones spending that either
They don’t have that in kind of money to blow on one player. Also, if Kane was actually in their plans it would mean that Ronaldo no longer is. No way is Kane going to play second fiddle to any other player, not when he is currently the Daddy on the block.
...you are sadly deluded Quents ... Kane would have no problem playing second fiddle to either Ronaldo at Real or Messi at Barca ... as would most players until they get to Neymar Jr levels ...
I wasn’t talking Kane, my only point was that I wouldn’t be surprised if transfer figures reached that amount soon such as how stupid it is getting. How much further it could go before destroying clubs I don’t know. Hopefully some big clubs end up ****ed

I think the problem that United has is that Mourhino is now a massive liability, what with his slating his players on a weekly basis. He’s effectively told his entire squad that they are ****e. If the board was stupid enough to give him unlimited funds (he’s already laughed at being given £300 million to spend), he’d replace every player. That is, effectively, what he has said. If I was in De Gea’s boots, I’d already be working out my exit strategy.
Mourhino uses players as puppets to reinforce his own ego. There is a massive rivalry between him and Pep, and Mourhino has a massive chip on his shoulder that Pep has always been favoured over him, and is clearly the better coach. You can see that Pep openly laughs in Mourhino’s face. That must rattle Mourinho to his bones. Pep is proving a point to Mourhino, this season, that Mourhino simply is no where in Pep’s league. Will Mourhino ever admit that? Of course not. Instead, he will slate his players, and he will keep slating them until he gets sacked.
