The teams that I'm most looking forward to see playing at St James' (and worrying about):

Chelsea: Sturridge, Lukaku, Mata, Torres - that has major potential! The first three players are all really young as well.

Man United: Rooney, Welbeck, Smalling, Cleverly - their team has looked frighteningly good in periods over the first few games. Young, English players with lots of pace and ability.

Man City: Silva, Aguero, Nasri, Dzeko - City are slowly but surely improving the quality of their players, and with that, starting to play a more attacking style of football.

Frimpong looks a bit of a beast (my kind of player), and also quite like seeing Paul Scharner and Chris Brunt play (my mate's a West Brom fan and he never shuts up about them)

I like Messi, Nasri, Ozil, Cleverly, Adam Johnson, Van Persie, and Forlan who caught my eye in the world cup.
Do any of you remember when we gave Steven Gerrard a standing ovation at St. James' park when he was substituted when Liverpool beat us 5-1 the season we got relegated. I remember saying to my cousin, where else in the country would this happen, he agreed and said "But he's great isn't he" At the time he was.

Messi, Silva, Rooney atm. My favourite Toon player to watch of all time was wor Laurent Robert, and my fave player of all time (even if he's still playing in Brazil) is Deco! An absolute magician!

Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man United all look young and exiting but Arsenal have definitely regressed.

Individually I think Suarez, Aguero and Mata. Also he's not a 'flair' player but Jones looks immense!

From the prem, Silva is a joy to watch, and worldwide Ozil. Neymar will be something special someday as well.

Premier League wise i'd definitely say Silva. The guy's touch and creativity is immense. Also looking forward to seeing Mata at Chelsea, heard alot of good things about him.

Worldwide the whole Barca team, Xavi in particular. Completely sets the tone of how they play. You are genuinely shocked when he gives the ball away. Genius.

Aguero, Messi, this Mata looks brilliant too. I love Silva though. This Maynard looks good, remember when we got a certain Andrew Cole from Bristol City. He was described as Quicksilver, and he was. I'd like to see us give someone like him a chance. Anyone know what's happening with Situ and Remy? That JJ Hooper scored a hat-trick against Chelski u18s, anyone see it?
