"Since it is now likely that the Club will change ownership..." Words from the President himself. The future is so close we can practically taste it...
I do hope Murray is leaving at the same time as Duchatelet and Meire. He is inextricably linked to them (his choice).
Indeed. Where is this mythical majority of Charlton supporters who (according to the apologists on ITTV) actually like our owner and CEO. Where is the outpouring of thanks and appreciation for all the good work KM has done? Oh yes, I forgot... #MembersOnly
I hope Meire has had a good look at Charlton’s social media today. She will have gained a proper understanding of just how despised she is by real Charlton supporters.
She would be well advised not to show her face at the Gillingham game - one day after she officially leaves her posts. The send-off would not be a cordial one. Doubtless the apologists will jump up and down squeaking 'racist' and 'sexist' etc, insulting the majority of fans just as their beloved ex-CEO liked to do. Still, if her little gang of admirers are now behind closed doors nobody has to read their hysterical tat for a while.
I would describe the reaction to Meire today across Charlton social media as ‘vitriolic’. Of course, this may be unrepresentative because none of us can currently read ITTV
Tony Keohane as well. Brian Cole too. We need to get rid of the lingering stench of decay and make a fresh start.
Favourite Meire memories ? There have been so many Claiming she interviewed 30 managers for Peeters job, when she had appointed Guy Luzon. Claiming Luzon could be ‘the next Sir Alex’ Accusing the fans of making ‘hand gestures’ “The negative 2%” Making Karel Fraeye “interim’ manager.
KM might need to take him with her, considering how successful he's been at his job..............his job being to keep her gob under control.
The new owners should have the sense to kick out all of the old regime quislings, though not with such haste as to disrupt the hopefully smooth transition. If the incoming administration is straight and honest with Charlton fans, they won't need a spin doctor. A clean break with RD's bizarre ways will be expected however.
