the manager, first team players and coaches must know the players that are causing problems. My background of working in restaurants has put me in contact with loads of moaning bastards that are bad for morale, always dealt with the same way, the are sacked or basically forced to leave if they don't get their head straight. Footballers are a different matter as they are worth millions, but the trouble makers must be weeded out for the good of the team.
Fair plays FLT that may be our only moment of genius for this match but it is Boufal solo goal level brilliant. We will still lose but we lose in style.
We are worse than under Puel, and getting worse. Our momentum is downwards, whereas some of our near rivals (WHU &CP) is generally upwards. Pardew will improve WBA eventually too. There`s no way MP2 can turn things around, so sadly he needs to go before it`s too late. And if I was the manager, I would stop players bleating on after the game about how sorry they are blah blah, and tell them to focus on putting it right on the park.
So, what approach. City, or Spurs? I think we should go at them, good intensity, cut out the sloppy passes, try and get the crowd on Jose's back.
I've been to old Trafford twice and we've won on both occasions.... Still can't get enthusiastic about it..an extra day in Ireland seems more enticing now but if we win it would make my festive season
A moment in history for the Match Day Thread In years to come I'll say "I was there for the FLT Star Wars Match Day Thread" and the response will be " What was the score?" and I'll say "Who cares?"
If we try and play football then I agree but I would play anti football to try and nick a point with five at the back and three DMs
