Biggest attention seeker on all the boards ROD, believe me he won't be around if they fall away, his ego won't be able to stand it.

Should they finish above us, you won't see the last of him, that would make him "considerably better than you".

Don't start it all off again banksy - know when you were well beaten on the other threads.

BTW "Biggest attention seeker on all the boards ROD" - what other boards have been on then?

Let's keep this thread to polite discussion and friendly abuse amongst us, not the puerile sheep shagging **** you served up before.

I'll pop across here win or lose to chat with those who want to - as for you it seems that drubbing I gave you on the earlier threads must still hurt real bad.

Playoffs were always the target for us (if you believe Warnock) and it seems that mid table survival was the aim for you lot at the start of the season.

To have been in the auto spots for the past couple of months was in truth always over achieving for us and the reality of this division has bitten.

We have both more than a decent shout at the playoffs and the autos are by no means sewn up yet, but this second half of the season will be tough.

As for your final sentance, we are certainly not ready for the Prem - if we ge there it will take a fairly major rebuild to stay there.

Survival was my aim for us, after last season’s debacle, but to be fair Lee Johnson has always said that his aim is the Premiership. He also mentioned Europe in 5 years, which we just laughed at.
The thing is we have had our hopes and aspirations dashed so often that we are only just getting our heads around grasping where we currently are. Lee may always have had confidence but I certainly didn’t.

Are you any more confident now half way through the season?

Lets just dream a minute OS and assume we both went up. Who has the manager to stay there? Warnock or a bright young manager that has already overseen the defeat of 4 premier sides this term? I like and have respect for Warnock but the game has evolved and I know who I would rather have for a season in the Premier League

Well Warnock has said he doesn't want to manage in the Prem any more so where does that leave us if it did happen?

I think experience is the answer to staying up there and not just enthusiasm, but Johnson has learned a lot this past couple of seasons both high and low. I wouldn't be surprised if he did a decent job for you based upon his current "form" but there are far bigger egos to handle in the Prem and that could take a bit more than he's got.

    I think we got a bargain. <doh>......<laugh>

It's a difficult one to call but there is something not right about the whole Tomlin situation at our club. Warnock won't play him for some reason.

I said on our site yesterday after the Fulham defeat that Warnock will not play him unless everything is right - the right type of opposition, the right pitch and weather conditions, the right timing to start him, even the right bloody referee - we are starting to despair.

I don't think the 'Europe in five years' statement wasn't a target as such, more an aspiration as somehow reaching the Europa League is probably the glass ceiling for a club like ours, as it is for most clubs from the Championship, right up to mid-Premier League.

That said, I thought it was a foolish thing to say to the media as it's the kind of quote that will follow you around, get twisted and be recited back to you - most likely during a poor run.

Reaching the Premiership should be a realistic target over the next few years - being where we are now is a wonderful surprise and I hope we can make a real go of it, as there may not be a better opportunity...

What I read on the Europe in five years was a tongue in cheek response. I think it was an answer to “where do you WANT to be in 5 years” not “where WILL you be in 5 years”
In truth it is where we all want to be, not necessarily where we will be though.

Bristol City head coach Lee Johnson says he wants the club to play Europa League football within five years.

''When asked where he sees the club in five year's time, Johnson said: "I'm going to stick my neck on the line a little bit and say Europa League.
    "

He did say where he wants to be, I have to admit it was a dream, a possibility, not a firm promise.

Tomlin is one of those footballers where you just pray he plays to his potential for an extended period of time, as he's a wonderfully gifted player at his best. However, for whatever reason, he's struggled to keep in good form consistently - if he were able, he'd probably be playing Premiership football.

I don't like to draw strong assumptions without knowing the facts, but that he's had so many clubs already might imply that he's a touch confrontational (I seem to recall he had a pop at Eddie Howe on social media when at Bournemouth) and that his strength has come more from his ability, rather than athleticism means he's arguably a 'luxury player'.

Warnock should be the ideal manager for him - if Tomlin can't prosper under him, then the likelihood is he'll fall through the divisions. He might have a realisation one day that he's not fulfilled his potential and become willing to work hard to try to get it back, but that's likely to come too late, as it has for many before him. Wouldn't bet against him scoring a screamer against us when we come over to Cardiff next though!

I wouldn’t say ‘confident’ as I am naturally cautious and somewhat negative as a City fan. We are running on empty, with the Man U game as well as the other packed fixtures taking their toll on our depleted squad - we have Pack on his final yellow and possibly Baker and Paterson both injured. We have a huge game coming up against Wolves - who are a premiership team in waiting, followed by Villa away and more cup games too including 2 legs vs a team who are arguably the best team on the planet right now.
I would say hopeful (of promotion) rather than confident.

If pushed I would say we are about to suffer a couple of defeats, but I do believe we will end up in the top 6.

You were battered then and I will batter you at will mate, you are an egotistical bore. thats why you disappeared with your tail between your legs.

You only came back because ROD called you out and your ego couldn't stand the thought of what people really thought of you!

Perhaps you could start another "puerile" thread about how much money you have or how great your cars are? Boring twat..

"Battered"...... you need some serious help banksy - add delusions to the diagnosis, but there are medications available.....<laugh>

As for disappearing with my tail between my legs, I bumped this thread back to the top myself last Sunday after we'd just been beaten by Bolton - that's how much of a dimwit you are.

I'll have a good chat to those that want it over here, and from what I've seen there are quite a few who choose to join in. If they don't want to then it's their choice just like it's yours, though I'd expect them just not to bother to respond rather than behave like a dickhead.

I did offer a truce at one time but in your advanced state of decline perhaps you'd just better ignore me - you know, hit the ignore button and on here I'll go away from your life. Otherwise if you don't like this chat thread and me personally, just **** off. <ok>

PS - you'll be glad to know my investments are doing fine and the X5 is going just great.

I won't be ignoring you.. no one cares about Cardiff and every conversation you have is steered back to how good you think they are and how poor you think we are.. you're a very boring, vulgar, egotistical man.

Why don't you try some of those other boards you say you haven't been on and bore them to death with how wealthy and what great cars you have, Are your fellow Cardiff fans bored of you too?

It was like taking candy off a baby last time, thats why you disappeared with your tail between your legs. if there is something you don't like here **** off back to your own board (or bored as they probably say when you post!)

Did you choose a red car or a blue car or couldn't you make your mind up, a bit of discount would persuade you to go red no doubt.

You're right about one thing though. I don't like you personally, anyone who would boast about their wealth and how great their car is on a public forum must be an utter prick, no doubt about that.

Anyway back to the football will city or Cardiff finish highest.

For me we need our injured players back, and we require a out and out goalscorer, and a attack minded midfielder.
Then we could get the second spot.
Even if we beat Wolves Saturday I still reckon they will finish top.
