Just tipping showers for tomorrow though. Anyone know any good rain dances? Bloody Aussies, even their weather conspires against the poms.

 

The one time Vince is really disciplined outside his off stump he gets a ball from Starc that hits a crack. Absolutely nothing he could have done about that ball. Hopefully he'll get his chance in New Zealand as well. I know he's got out with bad shots in this series but he's also played 2 really good innings and he's scored more runs than Root, Cook and Moeen.

 

Everyone is Praising him , and the ball that got him out .

 

It was a great ball, but if it hadn’t hit the crack Vince would have hit it for 4 off his hips!

Just watched the highlights. Fabulous from Cook, playing for pride but he wouldn’t have got the chance if the bowlers hadn’t stepped up. A truly great day’s play from England, and about time too!

 

This is the match to win! for England. They need 550 or 600, and then hope the bowlers can apply the necessary pressure. Oh, how England need a world class spinner!!!

 

This not working over Xmas lark is good - means I can stay up and watch the inevitable collapse.

 

That’s the worry , we are always , or so it seems , just 1 wicket away from a batting collapse .

Mind you , that’s what happened to the Aussies in this innings .
