Logically it makes no sense for the Board to have acted the way that they did in the Summer if the intention was to sell VVD to The Scousers all along. Something has changed and it is that something that has got me excited for the first time in weeks about Saints. They want the money to fundamentally change the course of the season with additions and changes in personnel IMO and i'm very expectant for the January window. There is gonna be a helluva ****storm with the supporters for the Board if i'm wrong.....
Pelligrino has done nothing for me to suggest he knows what he is doing and reason to stay on. His man management doesn't seem great, his 'giving youth a chance' is not happening, he still doesn't know his best team or formation, tactics and substitutions are questionable, our defending is going backwards faster that a Redmond back pass and going forward we are often clueless. Entertainment is poor. And yet, I don't mind if he stays, gets chance to work with these new players and then I judge him further. I want him to succeed but not sure what he has learnt from his mistakes. I think I am being a bit naive about this.

Glad we don't have to go through the whole saga again all through January. A window where the media will be making up rumours about how we will spend all the money they know we have. Makes a change
We all knew Virgil was going to go, either in Jan or the Summer. Why does it matter how much we spend in Jan? What we spend doesn't change the fact that Virgil was still going to go.
