Perfect opportunity to use this money as selling point to potential new managers. We have some very good players who have completely lost their way in a seemingly poisonous undercurrent and weak leadership. IF (and it's a big if) £70m is going to be invested in the right places, then we have the potential to be an exciting prospect without the big pressure of some of the bigger teams.
I'm sure it's only cos you're pissed off,the amount we spend is irrelevant,you don't have to spend all your money to get good players. Unless you're thick (Liverpool for example) We do need to invest well though that's for sure.
