It surely cannot be denied that we are now a more attractive club, to any prospective new manager. I am now finding it even easier than before to brush off the line that Rafa wouldn't be interested because he has a nice takeover to potentially look forward to in due course.
Poor Jose. All his pals got great moves, dream moves even - and he ends up at ****ting West ****ing Ham. please log in to view this image
Though it's something we'll never find out, I'd be interested to know how much money we would have had to spend in January had we not had just got £70m in. I'm assuming we won't spend the lot, let alone £70m plus whatever we were going to spend anyway. Now VVDs gone, here comes the important bit. We need to strengthen the first team in at least 3 positions. Plus, a new exciting manager who can inspire the quality players we already have who have completely lost their way. It is an exciting project if the money is there.
Haven't read through the thread but how much do we actually get? I assume Celtic have a large sell on %? Still should be like £50m?
