I can’t agree. Here we are at this point and the Board can not be entirely at fault, because they can’t predict Virgil’s contribution of the future (anyone saying they can is purely speculating). If they get things wrong from here in terms of the investment then they are at fault for that, without doubt, but not of this situation “entirely.”
Jeremy Wilson has proved himself when it comes to reporting about us. Whilst I am licking my lips, I am awaiting the answer to two questions. How much we will reinvest? And will City (or someone else) come in at the 11th hour to out bid Liverpool?
Brendy, stop teasing. The thought of the Board encouraging a gazumping by somebody else is making me drool.... that would be the funniest thing ever.
Which is exactly what i said Lack of a back - up plan, i,e for if he is sold in January, will leave them completely to blame for lack of preparation.
I haven't hid my dislike of Les in recent weeks. But I would be totally fine if he's keeping City and Chelsea fully up-to-date, every time he puts the phone down to Liverpool.
I really wanted him to go to anyone but Liverpool but for £75m I I'm over the moon!!! There is always a chance that he has been poor this season because he isn't the same after his injury instead of his attitude. That really would be the cherry on the cake!
Disgusted we have bent over to Liverpool yet again...................the summers bravado was for **** all..... Won't have to wait long for all the Liverpool wums to Lord it over here "told you so"...., Sorry but I am more than disappointed we have have again sold to Liverpool ......the board have no excuse for the fans reaction to this news......
Dear Jamie Vardy, When you next come up Virgil, same as before please, except this time: - two footed challenge, - same ankle - maybe rip his ponytail a bit, I’m sure he’d hate that. - score a hattrick. Cheers!
Agree with you on that point. As I said the other day, by not selling in the summer (and I said at the time I wanted us to) we have wasted six months. But I can't agree with any other word of your post. I don't give a dam it's Liverpool. The highest bidder means the most money for us.
Richie they can say what they like, because they haven’t “I told you so” anything. They wanted him in the summer. We said **** off. Now they’re half way through their season and if he is a success there, is dread to think how well they may have done.
The general consensus is mostly people are happy at the fee, why care it’s loads of money. Imagine you were selling your car, you know the market value of the car is £5k. Now, what if your birds ex cane over and wanted to pay £7.5k for it. Now, you know it needs a major service and never ran right after that little bang you had in it. You did it up pretty well, but all that extra dough,...
