If Leon had refused do you not believe his card would have been marked by the cnut of course it would have .Yes he could have refused but he made it plain he wasn't interested in the role full time and believe it or not his feelings towards the Club are a lot stronger than some so called long time supporters. He was helping the squad out and now it looks like the arseholes deem him not worthy of giving a bit of effort when the chips are down.
I certainly dont believe they are one step ahead! But you are right they are calculating their position how much do they risk in keeping us up to how much they will lose if we are relegated. When business enters sport profit will become before ambition.
Sorry but we are what we are and you can't expect the caliber of players we have to beat a side full of class......Stop fretting what will be will be ...nobody's died and the owners can do whatever they like it is their club, they own it lock stock and barrel, We are just supporters and nothing else and we have a choice whether to spend money on the club or not.....I choose not too and what the owners want to do is up to them.....Its not my money so i dont care......
Dai, you’re obviously not a supporter but others here are and see the local benefits of being in the premier league. For better or worse I love my local club and it does hurt to see it fall apart if front of our eyes.
Just supporters? You couldn’t be more wrong if you tried. Those who are the current custodians of the equity of our football clubs are just that, custodians. The club will be there long after they’ve ****ed off, football clubs aren’t just some disposable ‘brand’. Oh and that kind of doff your cap, we’re ****e and we know we are attitude ****ing stinks
What about the people who will lose their jobs when we get relegated? That and the impact on local businesses who rely on us being in the PL?
David Maddock, ex Manchester Evening News(Man Utd)journo, describes us as average to get his point about the Swans across. Average is alive and well at Old Trafford.
Most supporters have an emotional attachment to their football club which is probably only second to friends and family. This is why when the club is in trouble as ours is supporters feel as they do, angry, hurt, sad and in despair. It is well known that when the local team did well on the Saturday production in the wokplace improved in the following week with the opposite happening when they lost. We know the owners can do what they want and this adds to the frustration of the ordinary fan but without the ordinary fan there would be no football club for the owners to do with as they like. So Dai you are wrong to be so diissmissive of the distress that supporters are feeling.
Why didn't they start with Tammy Abraham up front. Mcburnie no where near premiership level. He would struggle in Welsh premier league what I seen. Let's get alan Curtis bk in charge I say intill end of season with leon with him. Toshack have got no level of experience to be near the premiership dugout.
I felt sorry for the lad having his first league start with those flowers we had out yesterday.. He's scored goals in league one and two and in cup games for us so a bit above Welsh League standard. Ollie and Tammy and Bafe before them are all better when the ball is played in front of them to run on to. So why do we persist in playing balls up to them with their backs to the goal. Bony is the only one we've had for a long time with the physical strength to deal with that sort of ball.
Short memories some people. Give them 10p in the pound. That's what you did last time. Still not sure what your fate will be but others at the bottom have moved quickly and signed experienced fire fighters. West Brom not turned the corner yet but pardew has been around the block. The worry for me would be time your board is taking to identify your saviour. That and the fact Jenkins was quoted as saying you've had to sell in the past to balance the books. A couple warriors need to be signed in January to dig you out of the hole you're in.
"Short memories some people. Give them 10p in the pound. That's what you did last time" if you intend to use that as stick to beat us with then get your facts right.
Still hanging in there. Another 3 points and we're safe from relegation. The "Eh" was because the response from mbsl was garbled.
Is that easier for you? "Short memories some people. Give them 10p in the pound. That's what you did last time" if you intend to use that as stick to beat us with then get your facts right. please log in to view this image
It was the bit before the quote that you've now deleted that threw me. Sorry, what fact did I get wrong? Was it 5p? Or was it that you didn't call in the receivers (twice)? Quite happy to be corrected if you want to enlighten me. As for something to beat you with, we've got to get our amusement some how. It's all tit for tat.
