I've watched the first three episodes of the new Vikings season, but so far its not living up to the quality of previous seasons...plots are a bit thin and contrived. But it follows the historical record quite well and is still a very interesting depiction of that bloody era...particularly its relevance to the Yorkshire (Northumbria) area .

    Enjoying this new German series:

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5753856/

Think Stranger Things/Twin Peaks - easy comparisons, but about right so far (after watching first few episodes)

A big thanks to whoever recommended Fargo.
It’s bloody great, best thing I’ve watched in ages, loving the second series.

I've watch the first 2 or so episodes but just couldn't get in to it. I'll give it another go after Mr Robot and stick with it.

I've not checked far back, so I don't know if anyone's covered this:

The Deuce. Written mainly by David Simon (The Wire, Treme, Generation Kill) with some input by George Pelecanos. It's the story of the rise of the 'Porn Industry' in the U.S. in the 1970s-80s.

    Great series, imo.

We binge watched all four series of The Peaky ****ing Blinders over Christmas, it's seriously up there with The Soprano's and Game of Thrones.

No spoilers, just watch the ****er!

I don't normally do period dramas but The Minuaturist on BBC one was good.

Has anyone watched Once Upon a Time and could recommend it? A mate is adamant I should watch it but it looks a bit gay to me.
