coutinho was a joy to watch.

Robertson was high energy. the only one all game imo

klavan did everything simply and well. read everything and made it simole for himself but is easy v that level.

can wijnaldum and ox were poor enough tbh.

for perspiration it has to be Robertson, inspiration coutinho and for the golden moment taa.

firmino did fine. well in fact but that miss first half is pish for a no 9.

Well i don't know about you lot but i enjoyed my belated Christmas present from Jurgen.
Thought we were sloppy 1st half but much better second.
Positives
the front 3 again
Robertson & TAA
Lallana gaining fitness
Nice plus to GD

Negatives
Can looked like he felt the injury a bit so running low on CM options.
MF was poor
The sloppiness of the first half which smacked of huge complacency

All said me is happy

Why is Wilson not getting game time or other youngsters?

We have experienced players yes. But this is the sort of game they could have got game time. With the exception of Solanke, others was more forced choices.

 

not ready for PL & we aren't in a position to risk points giving them experience.

And yes i do realise the irony of the we aren't in a position to risk points considering the points we somehow find a way ,however difficult it seems, to throw away.

 

Grujic would be a good option in midfield, at least it would be stronger in the tackle.
