My personal bet is the Sheff Weds manager who has just been sacked as we were linked to him in the summer before Pellegrino. Although if we wait a few more weeks Jokanovic might be out of a job, seen a few Fulham fans wanting him gone That was before todays win admittedly.

You’re right, but I think that would go out of the window if he was made the right offer. He talked to Everton as far as I’m aware so he’s interested in looking around.

We’ve tried the Black Box nicely, nicely approach and while I’m no fan of ruffling another clubs feathers especially mid season, reality has got to hit home that current approach over the past 18 - 24 months isn’t working.

We need to make a statement of intent in many ways, I’d back Dyche to keep the wayward players egos in check.

 

We can rebuild him. Maybe.

No chance he jumps mid season for us when he's got good chance of getting them into Europe.

 

For us, it should be realistic to want to be best of the rest; trouble is, people keep stealing a march on us. We need to be a new kind of ambitious, otherwise we’ll watch when someone else comes in and grabs him.

Certainly not me, hence the inverted commas, we have in theory a tempting template to go further (Staplewood, stadium, new backers, etc) but that by no means says that he can’t achieve a level of success at Burnley.
