Another ugly win imo, but good enough to come back in second half to claim the win.

We got to stop with the tippy tappy football at back and playing ugly else where, it'll bite us on arse eventually.

2 points gained on Preston, Derby and Ipswich, 3 gained on Cardiff. Leeds just did enough to win it, we were never convincing but it'll do.<cheers><cheers>

Agree Wakey, think TC needs to take a chance, swallow his seemingly personals with Klitch and give him his chance like he did with Cibicki.

O'Kane seems to be off boil lately, Vieira is hot and cold and Phillips brings nothing imo. We lose a lot in midfield......:emoticon-0148-yes:

Perm any 4 from O'Kane, Phillips, Viera, Cibicki, Alioski, Saiz, Sacko and Hernandez and we're always going to be light in midfield Wakey. The trade-off is that they are mobile and provide the only bit of creativity and flair we have to offer.

Dallas makes us look more solid, and Klich probably would too, but it's not TC's preferred approach. Have to say, it's working OK for us at the moment. <ok>

Roofe aint a lone striker especially against 3 CBs, yes he scored a good breakaway goal but that was by his pace from a defence splitting pass to run onto. We need a top striker as we let too many promising chances slip. 70% of the posesion yet 4 chances missed in the first half alone.

A good win but not convincing yet again

Tough away win in the Championship I’d take all day long. Burton had a plan and stuck to it but can’t feel hard done by like Hull and possibly Norwich.

Too many of our players off the boil today to be easy. The whole team was sluggish first half. Ayling was slack and seemed to want to play in front of Cibicki. Cooper resorted to a lot of hoof balls and looked like he could have one of his Cardiff red mists waiting to happen. Cibicki looked decent first fifteen minutes then went missing and, Berardi, has to be the worst I have seen him play for Leeds. Can’t remember a decent pass, got targeted in the air and failed constantly, never got past a Burton player once, slipped twice on the ball when last man back from our corners that could both have cost us and, frankly dumb to make that challenge on the half way line with ten seconds to go at the end of the first half. Could easily have gone and things could be looking a lot worse tonight.

Positives, Felix did nothing wrong, Pontus was decent, Roofe worked his dib dabs off and got a decent goal and Hernandez has that priceless bit of quality when needed.

Would also say again, I think O’Kane is decent enough but what is it with coming between Jansson and Cooper to collect the ball? Simply too deep. If we have possession why would you lose a player further forward? It’s not like he pings a pass like Hoddle or something.

Overall, I went to Brighton away last December and the loss put us something like 10 points behind second. We are five off second tonight with favourable looking fixtures ahead and the transfer window about to open, come on Rads, be brave.

Finally, I will feel a load better if Saiz plays Saturday or Monday, but twitchy about him missing now, hopefully, just good management of a minor injury.
