Upcoming transfer window is going to be interesting with or without Pellegrino. VVD leaving and screaming a repeat of the Fonte situation last season where we don't replace him and end up with Stephens and Targett in the starting 11. We still can't score but too many strikers on the pay-roll to realistically bring another in without offloading more (but issue is more of a lack of service than the strikers being shiet). Raises another question of if the new owner even plans to invest money. Haven't heard a peep from him so who knows if he even realistically cares. I hope he knows that his purchase will drastically reduce in value if we get relegated less than 6 months after the purchase <doh>

This is it. We have a very good squad. But Pellegrino makes them look so ****.

I don't actually think we have played badly apart from the first aberration. We lack a cutting edge but that is not unusual.

It actually looks like MP1 has asked his U23 squad to play a training game and shadow the first team. Don’t put a strong challenge in invade you hurt someone for he big game next week.

Wouldn't mind conceding a few more if it meant pelliginro getting the boot. Genuinely have no hope for the future of this team.
Let's hope Mr Gao has some big plans as we are certainly in need of some big changes.

    I disagree .

The state we are in now , we need someone with PL experience to see us through to the end of the season . Who ? I have no clue , but I would have asked big Sam , or Pulis ..both gone . Pardew ?

We cannot have another manager in who has no PL experience , given our current situation .

Anyway , who says MP2 WILL get the sack ?

You're right. A bit of consistency may help in the second half of the season.

We have played badly. No real desire. No cohesion. Poor positioning. Not tracking runners. Poor passing. No giving your everything to get on the end of the cross in the box. It’s bad.

Seems like a game we should be playing 3 at the back. Playing a CB at RB against a team like Spurs doesn`t seem smart to me.

It seems as though Pellegrino has decided to let the defence organise itself, with no direction. How can you prepare for a match against spurs without deciding that someone needs to mark harry Kane?

So I've just woken up, sounds like I haven't missed much. More angry that I didn't captain Kane in fantasy than the score tbh

I've seen a lot of the Epl seasons over the years and can recognize a relegation candidate when i see him and I'm looking at them now. Defining features are always the spiritlessness and the meekness like the ones we see today from this Saints side.
It's imperative to sack Pellegrino asap and stop the rot while we still can.
