Possible, with a different manager. We can go on moaning about injuries and suspensions until the sun goes down, but the players who were out on the pitch on Saturday should have had enough to do better than they did. A familiar pattern has emerged.......new manager, after initial successes loses the dressing room by Christmas, we've seen it before. The only manager since the Pozzo's who has improved us over a season was Jokanovic. The bickering is starting, the body language is not right on the pitch.....too many players look like they don't care, and this has to be down to Silva.

In seasons past, I seem to recollect Deeney being blamed for dressing room unrest.

I don't think Dychy would have had any of their bullshit.

And I think that if Silva had been clearer, or at least less enigmatic, at the time of the Everton debacle (for which they should be very heavily fined and docked points imho), he would've stood a better chance of holding the dressing room together.

Silva was clearly at fault by not saying "I'm flattered by the interest but I have only just recently signed a contract with WFC, blah, blah blah." The alternative was to resign. His behaviour certainly lowered his stock, hopefully only temporarily.

He may have been flattered, and may have secretly enjoyed all the hype, but he should realize that he is a young unproven manager who has yet to prove himself in a major league.

I was there Saturday and there is something amiss with the players. A chronic lack of confidence and, as my "Watford for the day" mate suggested, a lack of desire in some. Not good enough, I've witnessed worse but not by much.

It looks like the Pozzos blame that owner of Everton too...
