I'll remind you in the Spring If you like fish, you'd love it down here. I've got a couple of mates who have small boats and land whatever is seasonally caught. I can get it straight off of them from the boat, or go to Newlyn to the fish market if I want something a bit different. I also do a bit of fishing off the harbour wall where I live for Mackerel in the summer. The water is teeming with them. Just set up a feather rig on a cheap rod that I've got and 10-20 mins of fishing can land you a dozen Mackerel. We usually have those on a bbq on the beach in the summer when the sun is setting, pure bliss
I've had chilli and orange that worked before, no idea why or how though but mine was rank. Gotta try stuff I suppose.
true mate. not rules in cooking. thais like to dip apples in chilli flakes. its just different combinations
Will have ours later. Got plenty veg to go in it, no sprouts though as they all got eaten. Loads of beef and turkey and pickles and chutneys. Better than the dinner itself if I'm honest!
Tinned potatoes (fried) with mushrooms and onions fried in butter and garlic. Bacon sausages with a simple rump steak marinated in just soy sauce and black pepper. With loads of Coleman to finish
Tonight we are going to have a home made chicken, gammon and leek pie with a white wine and creme fraiche sauce ... aroma from the oven is truly mouth watering
