Liverpool were there for the taking on Sunday. It was hurting Tottenham that they have not beaten us in as many as seven games, so they deliberately
    targeted Lovern.

I don’t know how but we actually managed to get back into the game after the horror start.

Then the defence ****s up just before the HT. how demoralising is it to play with such a **** defence.

we got into it cos spurs sat off and went for easy breaks.

we had the vast majority of possession.

the first 2 goals were absolutely hilarious and the third was what spurs were expecting to happen

We got back into it because Lloris made a **** up. All five goals were from mistakes!

Yeah I suppose he should have saved it but salah scuffed it. He was anticipating a different shot. We did get lucky there.

All the goals we conceded were complete flogs and no spurs quality was needed.. though thats a little.harsh on spurs I guess ... it's not an issue to lose to abetted team but to be so **** is annoying

Not saved it, it should have gathered it before Salah got to it

I do not think Henderson is up to the task of holding midfielder. You cannot compare him with Didi Hamann or Javier Mascherano or Steve Gerard.

I stick by my assertion that the problem is systemic and while changing the individuals for better versions may help it won't solve the problem.
Oh by the way check our pressing & ground covered stats as another reason for our problems this season.

Our current defence is hot and cold. We need to go back to the drawing board.

Our defence is nothing to write home about. We had the opportunity to frustrate Arsenal and came back with all the points we never took it.

You are really taking understatement to a new level. Nothing to write home about means it is average, quietly effective. It is nothing of the kind. It is so bad that it is frankly worth writing about, just it will not be in flattering terms. How long are we going to persevere with Mignolet? How long with Lovren and Klavan when we know that they've succumbed under pressure?

I think the best way to view our defence is a ****ing bomb.
you can go along for a while ad everything is fine...... but you know, you just know it's going to explode sometime soon.

mingolet. he will eventually drop a clanger from lack of concentrstion.
lovren. he will panic, blind panic.
    Gomez. weak on back stick.
klavan, loses his man all the time.
henderson. Will be 5 miles out of position up the park.
    so. weak kneed.
Moreno. positionally terrible and bound to barge someone over in panic

I think our defence would be viewed as a lot more successful if we had a good keeper. We conceded 4x less shots on target than Man Utd did at the Emirates yet they got away with 3 points and we went away with 1 because they have De Gea and we have Mignolet.

fair point just that De gea is an outstanding keeper amongst the very best in the world, our record on buying goalies is not good recently so what makes you think we will be lucky next time.
