Lovely Christmas at the Piskie house. Little un absolutely enthralled with her presents. Cooked dinner for eight and then had a couple of surprise guests, so chef Pisk quickly made it dinner for ten. Everybody nicely sloshed without being too pissed. Lots of games and songs with the little un around, so that kept everybody entertained. My old man had a pretty good day, despite his dementia. He even managed a little dance with his ganddaughter, so that for me was Christmas done to perfection.
Cheers fella It's been a rough year with the old man as he's gone downhill quite significantly this year, and he's had more bad days than good ones. But today he was bright as a button (at times) and tried to join in the conversation where he could. He was laughing a lot and seeing him having a little dance with my daughter (who gets frustrated with him as she's only 4 and doesn't really understand why he can't follow her instructions) was magic. Yeah he had a great day, never forget his excitement and face this morning. The electric quadbike I bought was a huge success too. Nearly done at work now too
Didn't realise you had to work today fella ! Glad to hear that your little lad enjoyed himself and was excited this morning. There's nothing like it eh ? seeing their little faces light up when they see that Santa has 'been'. My daughter was bouncing off the walls this morning when she came downstairs and saw all the presents. She was like 'I can't believe it ! Santa actually came to our house !!' bless her. Think she got present fatigue this afternoon though, she had so many. She's the only grandchild in our family, so everybody tends to spoil her rotten at christmas. I've held a few back so she's got some presents to open tomorrow. Enjoy your evening mate. Well earned bevvie later ?

Not sloshed, steady. Half way through a bottle of port watching Skyfall. Everyone else has now ****ed off or ****ed off to bed. Bar one, my middle un, who probably shouldn't be up late watching Bond but it is Christmas after all so **** it.
