I am guessing I am not the only one who got Graham Taylor's book from Santa Claus. A look at the comments on the back leads me to conclude that the Queen Mother of football is lower than a snake's belly
Sadly, my hints to the family fell on completely deaf ears - although I am now the sponsor of a tiger for 2018. So, who is the Queen Mother of football?
Frohe Weihnachten Have a great day everyone, a merry christmas to all - even to the odd Tory and Brexiter on here - I hope you are true to your beliefs and have no Brussels on the table later. Hoping for a collective present and 3 points tomorrow.
I hope you all Have a great day .We need the 3 points before the fans start asking to sack MS . I have never voted Tory plus I wanted us to stay in but the good news is there is they don't grow Brussels here
Morning, Dave; morning, all. Quite gusty here last night. I dare say you got the worst of it, though, Dave? Have a good day yesterday, mate?
Morning all. Andy, it was gusty here last night and look what we've got today and tomorrow (the shipping forecast section): http://www.ports.je/Pages/weather.aspx
Morning all. Quite breezy and not very warm down here today. No holiday for us, back to normal as the public start to stock up on food for the New Year feast. The tradition of Boxing Day Sales is not that much of a tradition. They didn't exist when I was young and didn't really take off until the 1980's. New Year sales took place as retailers tried to get rid of stock that didn't sell, but now it has changed as they buy in goods just for the sales.
https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news...rk-incident-belfast-islamic-centre?CMP=twt_gu A bit of an over-reaction from the Guardian methinks - *pork attack* on a Belfast mosque! I'm having visions of pigs in balaclavas throwing ham grenades - or maybe just pork bangers...
Good morning everyone, I hope you all had a Try this one again shall we as it would appear my salutation and best wishes prematch were more than the internet could cope with.
