Like Fran said earlier, it’s just not worth the effort. By making the charge the FA have already made their decision, there is no fresh evidence we can bring to the table in a case like this

 

He scored away to Spurs last season, before going off injured. And we know he can score at Wembley. I bet he'll fancy homself to score.

 

I've seen it now and think it was incredibly poor and indefensible. Fully deserved ban for me and don't like to see that.

Austin's a twat. He should be fined maximum amount by the club.

 

Stupid thing to do, but he has shown so much effort and passion over his previous games, I'll allow him this mishap. Hope he's back soon.

I think it was a petulant and not very clever attempt at intimidating the keeper. I hope he is back sooner rather than later, but I suspect he`ll be off for a few weeks. I hope he has done enough in the last few weeks to change the opinion of the he`s-a-fat-lazy-useless-ba$tard brigade!

He's lucky he only got a 3 game ban if you ask me, as I think he deserves a lot more. Very poor behaviour to deliberately kick someone in the head. Ashame he has to let himself down after playing so well recently.

 

Every year a player does something silly to get Christmas off.
Would have been better if the ref had seen it and red carded him, because at this time of year he would be out for around 7 days or so. Now, because of the injury, he will probably be out for longer and will then have to regain match sharpness.
Some might say it is karma.

 

His 3 game ban includes spurs so I don’t see what difference that would make? And he would have been sent off taking us down to 10 men.

 

He probably will but you will never know!

 

I don't see it as deliberate, but certainly he could and should have avoided it, probably too much adrenaline pumping after scoring his goal and it all happened in seconds, not always easy to get a decision right in those circumstances.

 

Yes, I am sure Cedric deliberately ran in to the advertising hoarding and Bertie is faking his hammy.
