So we're not better than the bottom half... unless we play them, in which case we are and should be beating them?
We look like bottom five. WBA, Swans, Cherries, & Toon our only rivals for incompetence on the pitch.
Don't know how you managed to read anything about what we should be doing into what I wrote about other teams. If you mean do I think we need to be better than them in order to avoid relegation then yes, that is what think, and yes we do need to beat them. Controversial opinion it may be.
If we beat every team that was Huddersfield or below we wouldn't even be bottom half. My point is you were acting as if we were a top half team who should be beating midtable teams in the match thread and belittling Huddersfield and now your saying we're a relegation candidate here in which case you should be content at matching Huddersfield which would be an improvement over worse than most of the bottom half as you say you see us.
From the BBC . United and Burnley have met on Boxing Day three times, and Burnley have won all three - twice at Old Trafford, then 6-1 at Turf Moor on the most recent occasion.
Sorry Bmouth. I like you, and I'd like you to survive. But needs must for us right now, and I think West Ham are far more likely to survive than Bmouth are. So West Ham taking the lead is (and I say this with vomit trying to escape from my mouth) good.
Whether that turns out to be correct or not, it's not quite the point I was making. I said that West Ham have a greater chance of staying up than Bmouth (in my opinion).
