I bought that album, Widh You Were Here, for 10p in a charity shop. Classic.

 

A lot of the youth of today will only appreciate how seminal the Stones are...when they have gone.

 

I reckon movies like Guardians will do a lot for the profile of some of the 'forgotten bands'.

 

I went to watch a young punk duo called Slaves at the O2 recently. Somehow, I found myself in the mosh pit ten minutes before the gig started. It was like being in the Gallowgate years ago in the corner when we scored, swaying back and forth. Scary

 

I'm gonna be listening to the match of the day theme tune later.

Love Bowie, Prince, Sound garden, Oasis... the list goes on.
Lately however I have found myself obsessed with "looking out for Linda" Hue and Cry cos I'm that cool!

 

Just got it up on Alexa.
So why did Linda keep running straight down to Leeds Central?
Leeds is a wee bit unattractive.
Certainly that way back in the 80's.
