Don’t blame McGregor or the players, they are probably playing to their level. Blame the two useless bastards who have managed to **** up the best position we have ever been in. Two know all’s who think they know better than everyone else including how to produce the best run club in the country. This club was done when Bruce walked out.
You're right of course Ernie. Unless it's changed recently and I've missed it, at the end of the season, the league tables don't have 'Played well but were unlucky' columns, just cold hard Played, Won, Lost, Drawn, For, Against and Points. The soft twats in charge don't seem to realise this. Or the correlation between poor figures in those columns mentioned and the numbers attending to watch the 'spectacle' or paying money into the coffers. Just look at burnley and leicester for example, teams that got promoted at roughly the same time as us and are of (or were) similar standing to us. Only one thing for it ..... ALLAMS OUT !!!
It might have looked that way from the stands in the emotion of the moment and all that, but a cold analysis from watching it at home gives a better view of what really happened. Yes, we had lots of corners, some good possession and promising positions, a decent long range shot and pulled the odd good save from their keeper, but truth is we had f.uck all really in final third .... and that is no criticism of Dicko who again gave it his all (meaning it would be unfair to have a go at him for battling so gamely). In fact, didn't we even finish the match without a proper out and out forward on the pitch?!! What a sorry state of affairs. We desperately need forwards back from injury and / or strengthening asap in January. . Adkins seems to me to be making the best of what he's got, far better than Slutz, even though he's now got even more injuries and half fit players to contend with. Any more bad luck with injuries and we could be truly f.ucked. I did say though when he was appointed that it would get worse (results / points wise) before it gets better. Hopefully fans stay behind him and give him chance, recognising the sh.ite hand he's been dealt. -> I doubt if Adkins will pi$$ about, McGregor dropped..Marshall No.1 on Boxing Day Hell, I hope not.
When I noticed that (and it took a bit) I thought is there something wrong with my monitor!? Then I moved the browser around and saw it moved around my screen thankfully.
I know there are some that take umbrage at this, but I've made a slight amendment to your post which makes it just a teeny bit more accurate. Hope you don't mind. ALLAMS OUT !!!
They aren't playing to their level though are they. Adkins keeps alluding to it. We aren't fit enough. Factor in sluskty hasn't done any defensive drills and we are where we are. No one knows if these Chelsea kids, who lets face it are some of the cream of the crop of youngsters, would be doing better with a better manager since August. Same with hector whose nothing lie the palyer he was prior to coming to us. Is this team a championship winner? Nah Is this a top ten team? Undoubtedly.
That's nothing I've been calling a new women at work Sara for the past four weeks til someone heard me the other day and said its Sara.
Here’s a thought we need a midfielder to run the game and a solid centre half that’s dependable. Oh wait we are playing two on Boxing Day that Ehab ****ed about and couldn’t be arsed too sign on new contracts.
I even got that wrong I've been calling her Sarahi will give up been drinking all afternoon, Happy Christmas
Best post of the day so far johnbo. It's 10 past eight so could be a nervy couple of hours hanging on to your award.
No offence taken mate. I should have seen it myself. Really ****ing struggling with how far we have dropped back. Sick of name change, concessions, city council bollocks. Only one place where the blame lies. Rant over.
2nd half was absolute dire. Any fans who booed those under-9 player is a ****. I can see how Nigel has made us more solid - completely remove any attacking intent or threat.
Absolutely battered us first 20 mins and our calamity keeper managed to keep us in it Then your keeper came up with an error our keeper would have been proud of, we missed Samu Saiz but have managed to win last 2 home games playing terribly Good Luck with rest of season and with getting rid of the shocking owners
We'll need it, though battering teams is nothing new, we tend to batter the opposition for the 1st 20, then give up and end up getting battered.
Just got back from the match having to endure best part of 2 hours in a train coach all the way to Cumbria full of drunken L**ds supporters singing about the glory days in the 80's ( cos they have not had anything to celebrate for the last 2 decades the poor lambs) and about how they are going up?? well if they play the ****e they played today then if by some miracle they do then they will be annihilated in the PL. However saying that they came away with 3 points and we got sod all!!- Good effort by City in first half and we should have been ahead- whilst Geegsy's gaff was the worst in the first half the WS were truly awful when you were up close and personal-Thought Dicko, Larsson and Mazuch had good games (until Ondre went off after the McGregor brain fart) and we showed co ordination and effort. The second was a dogs breakfast, seemed to have some nice passages of play then it broke down in the final third- we started getting frustrated and then the players started shouting at each other- it seemed as if they hadn't played together. Larsson annoys me when he fires a corner in right to the back of the box targeting our 48 ft front men- and Stewart- what a fekkin waste of space and money every time he managed to mistakenly get the ball he was gash- in fact that would be an insult to gash. Anywho onwards and upwards
Here's the griff from someone who went to the game. Opening 20 minutes we were totally on top. This may have been due to the ****e having to attack and leaving gaps for us. Big Al then ****ed up and we are one down. This goal changed the whole dynamics of the game. Second half we were absolutely dire. The ****e didn't really need to press further up the pitch and decided to play safe.Unfortunately the personnel at the disposal of Adkins haven't got the skill, nous, desire to unpick a solid defence. Their keeper may as well have pulled up a deck chair and read a newspaper for the rest of the game. Worst offenders for us were Hector, Grosicki, Aina, Stewart, Tomori. Our crosses into the box are woeful. The concept of pass and move has escaped this team today. Dicko in the lone striker role doesn't work. As everyone knows, the fault in all this lies in the pathetic recruiting at the start of the season and the decimation of the team following relegation. Let's hope that Nige can sort a few things out for next season as the rest of this one is going to be difficult to say the least. We will be better against Derby. The support today was magnificent. Allams Out.
oh yes and all those that booed the Leeds under 14's & under 9,s need to have a good long look at themselves (even if some of the little toe rags were giving us the fingers and ****ing gestures the little scamps!!!)
