For many years the complaints on this site have been surrounded by the comments that we are not capable of living up to the supporter's expectations for one reason or another. Whether those comments were based on manager, team selection, poor substitutions or just reasons to be determined seems somewhat irrelevant in these headier times. The board has definitely taken a downward slide, possibly because of many reasons, and yet I truly believe that if we meet our expectations on the field of play then surely this board should be alive and sparkling - and it is not! Taking a serious look at all the happenings at Ashton Gate has given me a firm impression that we mean business, and the results have echoed that thought, and whatever has transpired over the last year or so needs to be firmly put to bed and dispatched to the annals of history, never to be resurrected. We are enjoying a purple patch and we need to ride that wave for all it's worth, and that should include this beloved site. Lee has put together a strong disciplined squad capable of almost anything and I, for one, am enjoying the excitement and anyone who got even a sniff of the Man Utd game must surely feel the same way. We now have strength in depth, and although there are a couple of players who may be slightly suspect, that could take us in to uncharted waters. I will probably not be posting during Jan/Feb, because of my trip, and it would be so nice to return to a team and board that are buzzing like never before. I would like to take this time to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and my wish would be that we see a resurgence of board activity and return to the happier times, and with the team doing so well - why would't you want to chat with your mates????
There are things I would like to say regarding this.......but it's is Christmas so I shall refrain from doing so......But like you.....I would like to wish one and all, Lovers & haters!!!! A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
