Didn't go but listened to it, sounded like we were much the better side, Atkins has made us much better without having the chance to make many changes because of injuries. Should have come away with the win, a draw at the very least but end up losing. Not much difference between top and bottom sides and not having Frazier Cambell has been a massive loss not just for today's game but Cardiff and any future games. Need strengthening up front to cover for him. Move on Derby next
I don't want to go all Castro here (Hi Castro) but take away anyone's goals and they'd have scored fewer. I don't see that Bowen will improve his form under Adkins. I think we'll sacrifice our attacking prowess for little benefit because we just don't have the quality at the back.
I don't think relying on a tenuous link with Chelsea is a great way to build a team. Chelsea youngsters would be adequate back-up, we failed to recruit for the starting 11. That's not Slutsky's fault.
We were the equivalent of a cricket 'flat pitch bully' against 3 teams who had collapsed (Burton with 10 men), against others we didn't score for fun otherwise we would have had many more points. He joined agreeing to it though, he said they waited on Chelsea loans. If he expected other loans or to get Musa then he failed as well.
You can't blame an error for them not creating another chance for next 60 minutes, if that was the case all games would be over after the first team scored.
I don't know what he agreed to, it can't have been what he ended up with. The supermarket was closed, almost. There was an obvious area of improvement under Slutsky, play for 90, not for 80. What's our obvious area of improvement now? Everybody be better?
Would be more worried if we were not creating chances. Mate of mine who went today reckons we did everything but score but as we all know, goals win games.
two consecutive away games to top 6 opponents lost both 1-0 that tells me why we are not pushing for play off places ourselves But it tells that we have something to build from, and that i think we will stave off relegation if these two games happened a month or two back, it'd of been hammerings small positives and all campbell makes a massive difference though
To be tighter so other teams can't just run right through into space and score. Going forward I don't think we generally have been fluent before or had that many great shots or assists, we just got more forward (like Aina), nothing clever with that. And when we really needed to we often didn't score.
No, it takes the momentum out of the game from that moment. Not for the rest of the game - I didn't say that did I? It gave Leeds a foothold when we were very much on top and gave them something to defend.
