have a look at the little clock in the top left corner before you start calling people numpty it was 90+4:58seconds when he blew his whistle 28 seconds after he should of blown
I can see us actually picking up a result against Man City as the lads will be buzzing after that surprising win. Wonder if saivet is going to continue. Interesting he starts we win. I do wonder why he has not played much since he joined. Baffling.
****ing hilarious read this thread has been, guess that decorated manager actually DOES know what he's doing. You can't get better than that though. The players people were holding against Rafa as a sign of cluelessness performed, the best "sit down" reply I've seen from an NUFC manager in a long time. We could have had more to be fair and the tactics were spot on. Diame had to run the field and put his legs about on one of the PL's bigger pitches, the wing backs brought the ball forward and provided overlap and balls in were more floored because we didn't have the physicality to compete with their back-line. All in all pretty good, especially when we take into account we hit the post twice at Everton and lost to a Ozil screamer at Arsenal. We have been playing better than credit given suggests. It's why i love Rafa, this team is evidently not good enough but creates chances and generally defends well. Delighted with Elliot today. Okay the pen was somewhat **** from Ayew, but his distribution was class. Saivet but for his brainfart did a pretty good job of, well, just doing his job. Joselu looked decent and the way he holds up the ball I see his value to the system, but holy **** Raf needs a new striker. He also needs a new Diame: saw him attempt a dribble, lose the ball and crop back up to win it back in roughly the same position and pass to the side. Should really have just ****ing passed it simple in the first place. Pretty much Mo in a nutshell, his decision making is ****. Clarke is starting to frustrate a little, when pressure goes up he's having trouble coping. Obviously he gave away the free-kick that became a penalty, but towards the end gave away an FK, that he didnt need to, in the perfect position to cross with Carroll on the pitch. Atsu terrorised Zabaleta and Ritchie will look loads better if we buy a true header of a CF. Some good crosses wasted today. Yedlin was ****ing unreal in attack and was exciting to watch, also held out well when WHam were clearly targetting his side towards the end. Conclusion: Enjoy ya ****ing Saturday, we've got three points!!!!
