Robertson is easily ahead of Moreno. Calling Robertson one dimensional when comparing to Moreno is a joke. Robertson had a decent game and has been solid enough since he came in and he covers his CB's well which is one reason we are better at the back. Everyone played well yesterday though other than that one 10 min blip.
I’m sorry but he’s not easily ahead. I think Robbo is decent and solid and hasn’t actually done much wrong. But going forward, Moreno is miles ahead. Robbo is one dimensional in the sense that all he does is look to cross. There’s no link up play. I do think he will improve under Klopp and add more to his attacking play.
I think we can all tell Diego was just after a rise. I could simply state in mingolet is that good then he must be yet another keeper to add to the long list of keepers who are better than Utd **** reserve keeper Seriously mingolet wasn't concentrated and not set right for a shot.
Dunno why everyone thinks cech made a mistake. Thought he did brilliant just to get a hand on it. Firmino blasted it from pretty close 1 on 1. As for Robertson. Hes far better than moreno.
Robertson made one mistake in the first half, and it wasn't punished. Otherwise he was always in position (see he didn't need Moreno's breakneck, desperate speed to retrieve situations), he made several interceptions and had at least one great cross -that you NEVER SEE from Moreno - ****ed up by Bobby. Anyone who thinks Moreno is in the same hemisphere as Robertson as a full back just doesn't know what a full back is supposed to do. thought i may have calmed down by not but i was wrong. We had total control and just collapsed following 1 error - once again FFS.List of stuff going thru my head. Negatives Think that is probably the end of Migs as our No1 Why did Klopp change the formation when we were controlling the game. Mane did an effective job in MF/DEF but was again poor going forward. The absolute lack of composure when the pressure is on. Henderson injured which leaves Can or Milner as only CM options Positives well we did manage to come back & salvage a draw. Like Jimmy thought Lovren (in particular) & Klavan were very solid strange as it seems having conceded 3 in 5 mins. We keep Arsenal behind us & keep on scoring. Migs has had a few years of non stop errors. And approaching 30. Karius has had a stop start to his LFC career and has done well in the limited appearances this season. Give him an extended run so we can definitively assess if he’s good enough. Karius may or may not be the long term Answer. Mignolet definitely isn’t the answer.
Harsh to blame Karius for the gosls against Sevilla (if I recall correctly). By this logic, Gomez has been at fault for a few goals so we should sell him.
What does Moreno actually add going forward? Where are the assists and goals? Robertson is a better defender and better in attack from what I've seen. Not saying he's brilliant but he does cover his CB and looks to get balls into the box and at times.
Not praising or blaming either Mignolet or Karius the truth is we need to acquire a good keeper who is dominant and with both staying and stopping power
He just motors, that's about it, there's very little to nothing at the end of said motoring. You know what, he's kind of like a really really **** version of Ronaldo when he first arrived at Utd, obviously lacking anything in the name of visible skill or future potential to develop
