I’m happy to eat it straight. Very nice!

Not sure I’d want to eat it all year round though.

Missus (vegetarian) cooked dinner tonight. Roasted veg puff pasty pie thing with loads of garlic. Sauteed potatoes with rosemary and a nice garlic aioli

Honking of garlic now, and loving it :)

    Soinds great!!

Never understood all this anti-veggie crap you hear.

If there's some veggie stuff on the menu and it sounds lush I'll tuck in.

Next week it may be dead baby cow or lamb on my plate.

Whatever takes my fancy on the night!

Edit: I can smell the garlic from here mate

I love garlic. I don't have any truck with those whining pussies who are like 'ooh you stink of garlic', when people have been eating garlic.
Garlic stinks of garlic and it's wonderful stuff. I'm more offended if somebody doesn't smell of garlic :)

If a recipe calls for 2-3 cloves of Garlic, I will put the whole bulb in there <ok>

I don't like too much garlic in food. But a roasted bulb of garlic with cheese is lush.

I can’t remember the last time I had a Chinese takeaway that I’d describe as good or better.

I normally get from a place in town called Taipan, it's about as traditional as you'll get for Chinese food and it's lovely, the Dim Sum is my Achilles heel, I could eat a wheelbarrow full of it.

The local 'Chinese Chippy' shops are all the same, deep fried **** covered in grease and "Free", prawn crackers... thanks <ok>

I did a bit of work for a Charity a few years ago and one of the Trustees was from Hong Kong, she used to invite me and a couple of others over for dinner from time to time, some of the most amazing food I've ever eaten and no grease or deep fried ****e.

I do like a fish finger sandwich. Though I opt for a slice of plastic cheese, tartare sauce and ketchup.

Proper fish finger sandwiches are lovely - fish goujons in batter with a bit of tartar.

Yeah I'm down with the fish finger sarnies. I do a food event in the summer at a big fishing port down here. There's a company there that sell posh fish finger sarnies. Big chunks of Hake done in their own beer batter and homemade Tartar, served up in a soft floury finger roll <ok>
