I fancy point and shoot for Nigel hawke in the last at Exeter .my only concern lots of claimers about in this race.
Its not often I can claim that hated word on here 'info' so instead I'll say I've heard whispers that both Mick Applebys horses tonight worth an ew dabble. The other Indigo Princess goes in the 7:15 at around 40s.
I cannot believe that has got nabbed close home, was home for all money! Used up all my luck last night.
I don't know where either finished as i've been out doing the booze and food xmas shop but i've seen neither have placed so sorry to anyone who felt misled by my post. I've had a few snippets of info from the Appleby yard in the past, although none for at least 4 years but i think today was the first time i've dared post it and its come to nothing.
My honest view is that David is a very different operator to his father and likes to develop horses slowly. Martin was all about winning races and doing everything and anything to make things happen. I also think the yard is not patronized by particularly powerful owners and are somewhat feeding on scraps.
Don't let it bother you smokey. I only had bet my entire monthly pension on the double and will have to manage Christmas and January with no food; but I'll be fine
Ageing sprinter Captain Scooby has his 206th career start in the lucky last at Chelmsford. He's won at least 1 race every year which bearing in mind he'll soon be 12 is quite a feat. In 2017 he's had 24 starts but hasn't got his head in front....yet. He's running out of chances but at 22/1 I'm going to have a little play on the ol boy. A positive is that at this track over this distance he's unbeaten (albeit with a sample size of 1). 4 wins from 60 all weather races not so good. Come on the Captain.
Entered at Dunstall Park tomorrow and again on 27th. Tomorrow he's well drawn in 2 and would you believe his last win in December 16 was the day after he'd finished back in the pack. It's a sign I tell ya.
