    Food shop done. Got a shot load of weird cheese. As we aren't doing a Christmas dinner at all it was basically a normal shop plus pickie food.

    All I've got left to do is the booze run. As wine selection in Aldi was a bit ****.

    Yeah Aldi is a bit **** for wine, Lidl is a bit better but I do tend to stick with Asda for a decent bottle at a good price, there's Torres wine there at the moment for £5 white label red writing well worth a go.

    They used to do a really nice Bordeaux in Aldi for about £7/8 not been for ages so not sure if they still stock it.

    For the money, it’s very good.

    If you want to spend real money, you can do it on a top Ribera.

    In all fairness I do prefer French wine. Though Spain do make some very good wine.. for white I'd only ever drink Marlboro estate Sauvignon blanc but really I only drink it in the summer.
