Terms agreed with Manchester City for Nasri

Arsenal can confirm that they have agreed terms for Samir Nasri to move to Manchester City.

The 24-year-old midfielder, who has spent three years with the Gunners, has been omitted from Arsenal's squad which flies to Udinese this afternoon and instead will travel north for a medical.

The move will be subject to Nasri passing a medical and formal registration processes.

It's clearly shows that the board are more interested in making money than putting it back to recruit quality players. Oh once great Arsenal!

  5. Getting £23 or whatever and reinvesting it was always a better option than losing him for nothing next summer. He may have helped us stay in the CL which would give us £25+mil but so can reinvesting the proceeds of his sale. Nasri is a good player but he hasn't given us an entire season in three years so perhaps he was at the limit of what he could do for us. I was glad he played last weekend and hope any ill feeling between the fans and him may be set aside if we meet in the future. No need for all that stuff. I can understand that £180K a week is hard to turn away even if he may have dressed up leaving as an opportunity to challenge for silverware.

There is a clothing sale in Udine and because Nasri isn't earning enough at Arsenal .. he has to buy his clothes in the sales :p

    quelle surprise !!

No one thought he would go to moneybags city - did we?
Thank God all this nonsense is reaching a close. Fab & Nasri had had enough of the Wenger ' one day all this will be great' crap.

Sorry to see him go - but we have to face facts- he'll be paid double what we can pay.
