Please don't call him Quentin, Fossie calls him that all the time. It's a gay as Peter Andre in a thong.

I was living in Houston at the time so it was easy to do the Texas tour it was a 4 hour drive from Houston to South Padre which borders Mexico, stayed in a beach front hotel for two nights and then set off for Corpus 2 hours drive and a 1 nighter, then San Antonio 3 hours drive, 2 days/nights(the Alamo and the riverwalks), 1 night in Austin 2 hours( visit the state capital building and get drunk on the very popular 5th Street, onto Dallas 2 hours, 1 night and a visit to the grassy knoll back to Houston 3 hours, Galveston is basically part of southern Houston so it's an easy drive and never stayed on the island as I'd been there before and could stay where I was living instead of paying for a hotel room, it's 3 and a half to 4 hours drive from Houston to baton rouge, stayed a couple of nights ( did the plantation tour and visited the state capital, and the Steamboat Casino moored just under the Mississippi Bridge there, it's a further 3 hour drive to New Orleans, stayed on bourbon street stayed in the Royal Sonesta hotel for two nights(but expensive), visited Cafe Du Monde(famous in Louisiana), there was no Mardi Gras when I was there but the pubs, bars and clubs were still very busy and the music was not just jazz but zydeco, soul, rock in the different bars.

Wondering how many times @Hoddle Is A God can make a fanny of himself today :) He was trying to set a record yesterday.
Might have to get on the blower to Norris McWhirter later.

Yesterday was a bit special even by his standards. He kept walking from one **** up straight into another.

His ‘I’m not real’ rant summed up his desperation last night.

    He was rag dolled

And all he had to do was a bit of research and he'd have found some good ammunition yesterday. <whistle>
In 2009 Heston Blumenthal revamped the Little Theif menu and introduced black pudding.
I thought he was good at Google?

    Black pudding gate? What thread?

On the topic. I used to hate the stuff. Nowadays I'll have just the odd slice if it's going at a hotel or something. Not something I'd buy and cook myself though. My Mrs is one of the fussiest eaters in the world....but she love black pudding. Weird.
