I'm staying in San Telmo, a very nice gaff. But in all seriousness, I make you right and am always mindful of not getting drunk out here. 2-3 beers a night after the sightseeing during the day is my lot. However, I meet the wife in Brasil this Wednesday so I might have to have a few then......
F*** that, even the guide books say leave the area when the sun goes down. I was not intimidated but was certainly mindful of the surroundings. A bit like when I'm in Rio in two weeks time.
In Brasil now, my wife's home city Cuiaba. This place is very popular with the locals, I settled for a juice. 35 degs sometimes says it is too hot for lager.
Great pictures Elf - such a shame they chose to hide the classical architecture under that gaudy red paint!
Cracking little boozer that is a dying breed nowadays. Shame the dude who I was talking to was milllllllll
This was my pre-match boozer before yesterdays game at Hungerford. Next time Mr van Gerwen stages a fans meeting I can challenge him to a 'round the clock' game. I was getting some practice in but I had to play at the 7'6 line as further than that I could not reach the board.
Two of my mates had been up to Sheffield for the Wednesday v taffys match. We agreed to meet at the station bar in Kings Cross. As station bars go this is a cracker although a 'tad' expensive. This pint went down very well after I composed myself after shelling out £6.25!!!! Had a very nice evening but a shame I fell asleep on tge train and ended up in f****** Maidstone
