I had you on IGNORE but someone tipped me off about your post and I couldn’t resist it. For those of you not familiar with Little Britain, you have got to check the characters Dudley Punt and his Ladyboy wife, Ting Tong. Then, you will realise what a comic and wum genius I truly am! The one where Ting Tong opens a Chinese restaurant in Dudley’s flat is pure Skiddy!
Well, that demonstrates just how little you know, Renee. Flying Business Class anywhere isn’t cheap, no matter what time of the year you fly. Plus, we stayed in one of the most expensive rooms in one of the most expensive hotels. You couldn’t sell a kidney for what I paid for that trip, Pix. How does that make you feel?
Oh of course, you went business class. And I forgot that you stayed in the penthouse suite where the helicopter landed on the roof to take you sign seeing
Exactly. So you will know that just the flights alone with have been more than the ‘Pede spent on their marriages combined. Why does any of this interest you, Pix? I make a lot of money flipping burgers, and I’m proud of it. You should be applauding me, not trying to belittle my achievements, mates.
No need to get all defensive mate. Was just interested to know. Makes it sound like you’re trying to hide something.
I could make up any ****. How would you know if I had given the name of the actual airline that I used? It’s like you telling us that you own a cafe business. How do we know that it’s your name on the non-renewable lease, Pix? You could be the cleaner for all we know.
I’ve flown to Las Vegas twice (because at the time it was the cheaper route to LA) been in May and November with Iberia and KLM, paid around £400 return each time.
You can get some great deals to the west coast USA nowadays though with budget carriers. Last time I went to LA I flew with Norwegian. Next time I go I’ll fly with WOW airlines and have a couple of nights in Reykjavik en route. You can get flights to LA and San Francisco for £149 each way.
Well done, Pix. You managed to get a good cheap deal. Check the price of seats with Virgin, and you’ll note that it’s double that now. And that’s the standard Third Class that you would have flown!
Did you fly with Virgin ? I’ve flown with them to JFK. Very good airline and a complementary glass of champagne before take off even in economy
