VAR would have sorted that in 15 seconds

So what's everyone's view on AOC then?

He's getting high praise from most pundits recently. Is he finally being coached properly and turning into a very good player... or is just squad filler?

    I'm undecided.

He's been playing better recently bit like all players, he needs to do it consistently over a sustained period of time.

Will he get that chance though? Can't see him dislodging Mane, Salah or Coutinho. He's even going to have a fight on with Lallana once he regains match fitness.

Its certainly good that we've finally got selection issues like this though

still lacking end product that boy.

He's always had the athletic and technical ability but i don't like his lack of brain and end product. If klopp can develop him though he's got a lot of years to play.

    Chelsea: 1-0
    Arsenal: 1-0
    Man U:2-1

We win 4-0. Great and better than the other top 6 teams ? Yes but when you look at the other results you realise there is something there.

They grind results. They survive the 10-20 minutes when they come under pressure. So far in the main, we haven't. When we are on form and when things click into gear we crush teams. But when we are not playing well and the attack are not 100% on their game we can't grind out that win.

Dermott Gallagher is a two faced twat.

"Incident: Nicolas Otamendi caught Harry Kane in the face with a high boot.

    Dermot's verdict: Correct decision.

Dermot says: This is an easy decision for me. It's 100 per cent not a red card. It's a high boot, he's gone for the ball and it is reckless but he hasn't gone for the player.

There is no intent or malice behind it. He hasn't caught him with his studs, it's just a reckless challenge and I think a yellow card is fair."

So is it only fair because Kane never got a cut head?, the day after we played City he reckoned Mane's was a definite red, even though Mane never set out to injure the keeper, these ex referes are showing their judgement before retirement was not even handed and accurate, Clattenberg got slated by Gallagher after telling his Chelsea v Spurs story yet the ref in the City v Spurs game comes in for no criticism at all for not sending off players he should have.

ayne Rooney 'really enjoying' community service

Image caption Wayne Rooney arriving at Stockport Magistrates' Court
Wayne Rooney says his drink-drive punishment of community service in a garden centre is "refreshing" and "relaxing".

Rooney was ordered to complete 100 hours' unpaid work in September after admitting being nearly three times over the legal limit when stopped by police.

The former England and Manchester United captain said he was made to feel welcome and was "really enjoying it".

The Everton striker was banned from driving for two years in September.

Rooney, who earns £150,000 a week, told Talksport: "I knew straight away I had made a stupid mistake and I have to move on."

Rooney, who said he was about halfway through the community service, added: "I've really enjoyed doing it."

He said he had been working with adults with learning difficulties in a garden centre and had been "helping them with different things they're making over Christmas".

He added: "Honestly, I'm really enjoying it, working with these people, and I think it's a place now where I'll certainly keep in touch with when obviously my hours are over."

    'Refreshing place'
The striker said the staff there were "doing a fantastic job" and made him "feel really welcome".

Asked if he got any "stick", Rooney said: "No, not at all.

"We actually don't even talk about football in there. It's a refreshing place to go and it's relaxing."

The 32-year-old pleaded guilty at Stockport Magistrates' Court to drink-driving following an incident in the early hours of 1 September.

Rooney had reportedly left a cocktail bar in Wilmslow, Cheshire, in a taxi with lettings agent Laura Simpson, 29, and later went on to take the wheel of her vehicle.

Police stopped Rooney in Altrincham Road at 02:10 BST - with Ms Simpson in the front passenger seat - after they noticed a rear light was not working.

After failing a roadside breath test the footballer was taken to a local police station where he produced a reading of 104 microgrammes per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit in England and Wales is 35 microgrammes.

Salah and Mane face an arduous trip before Liverpool's FA Cup tie against Everton in January
Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane face a 9,000 mile round trip to Ghana the day before Liverpool play Everton in the FA Cup, Sky Sports News understands.

Both players, along with Borussia Dortmund's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, have been shortlisted for the African Player of the Year award which will be presented at the Confederation of African Football awards gala in Accra on January 4.

Liverpool have confirmed the players will be travelling to the event by private plane, which will allow them to attend and still be available for selection, fitness and injury permitting, for the third-round tie the following day.

Don't know why Mane is going tbh, he's a great player but it's odds on that Salah will win it for almost single handedly taking Egypt to the world cup finals.

Not a chance of it being 0-0 dribs, lessons will have been learned(by both managers)Everton have got to be more adventurous and we have got to be more lethal, a more open game is on the cards.
