Weidwald One thing about him really impressed me on Saturday & I forgot to mention it. He threw out a ball - over the top of their players! - to feet in the centre circle & kicked off a rapid attack. This was the best example of many excellent throws & passes (too good to be just 'kick-outs'). His distribution is not just good - it's the best I've seen bar one (he-who-cannot-be-mentioned-whose-son-played-in-goal-for-us). Grot I didn't witness any noticeable reaction from the crowd re. Grot. Yes, there were individual comments, but no collective chants, groans etc. I do not believe any criticism should be aimed at the kid. As Billy says, he's 19, and a raw talent brought in for his performances playing wide. He clearly has not got the tools to play up front on his own. Yet. But neither has Pontus. Would Pontus, a fan's favourite, get the same abuse if he was played there & gave equally duff performances? I think not. An easy target, but any abuse due should be aimed elsewhere. I believe that our bare bones situation means that he gets put on at the end to provide fresh legs, and provide a potential threat that the opposition cannot discount. We've done the same with Sacko in the past. Goals We're scoring more goals this season than we have done for years. The goals are spread about throughout the team. Playing the way we do, whoever plays CF will not get the number of chances that Wood got last season, so we cannot expect another Wood, no matter who we sign. I've said it before, if I was TC, I'd think long & hard about bringing in another striker - especially one of big, big money (i.e. 'proven'). Anyone incoming will need to adapt to our style of play - we won't adapt to theirs, so it's not a foregone conclusion that a new striker will improve us.
I will let you know when he doesn't. how come you are not working every hour given its your peak period? Last year you were at it 7 days a week IIRC

Marcos great to hear that the reports were wrong about the booing but I still think Grot needs a bit of time away from the limelight just at the moment
Not so fast,I must say I did hear booing, sat in the North East Corner,Glory was at the game as well so I understand.
