How about Man Utd at Ashton Gate? We will probably have already beaten them in the the other cup by the time the FA Cup is held in January. Oops replied to the wrong thread - but you get my drift?
Ah well - my boy has missed out then! Both me and Mrs R&W offered to swop with him but he wasn't interested, so he'll be watching it up here in the Swindon pub on Sky with all the plastics........
The big one next against the biggest club in the uk. I’m going for a 2-1 win to City just have a gut feeling it is going to be our night.
Would love to agree, but the likelihood is this will be the end of our Cup run - Mourinho knows that the league is as good as gone, & now they've gotten this far they'll be taking this seriously as so to save some face. Another factor is that Paul Pogba is likely to play following his suspension & he's a World Class creative force. Still, if they don't take us seriously enough, we might just catch them cold. I'm lucky enough to have been invited to hospitality for the game so am keeping my fingers crossed that this is a historic night for us.
This. I know I'm going to be horribly disappointed but with the form we're in, I literally haven't even comprehended the fact that we might lose this one. It just feels like a special year.
Strangely enough, I'm in complete agreement with you on this one Rob. Whilst there is obvious excitement, there's nothing really OTT about the game - in fact, to me, it seems more like another top-of-the-table clash.
I honestly don’t care. I’m going to enjoy the atmosphere of a sell-out Ashton Gate and hope we give Man U a game. The only worry I have from this game is getting an injury to a key player like Flint, or a ban. Of course I won’t want us to get dicked either, but picking up an injury or ban is my only real fear from this fixture.
the tea leaves see a disappointment, and the heaviest defeat of the season but we show we have some ability to compete but a lack of a free scoring chunky centre forward is our Achilles heel! score line is 0- then it gets vague...........................
I’m not as positive as others. I think Man City will win the Prem so Manure will be looking for at least one trophy this year and will go all out on this one.
Obviously it's a huge ask and the odds are stacked against them, but with a bit of luck Ibra might be able to get past Flint tomorrow night.
Talking to a mate in work today, he got 160-1 on us winning 2-1 with Flint scoring first. Interestingly it was 120-1 on Man U winning 2-1 with Flint scoring first. I am not a betting man but I was tempted to put a tenner down on both scenarios - which is exactly what he did!
